Five Lookout Mountain Cabins With A View
by Jen, Chattanooga Vacation Rentals
One of Chattanooga’s defining landmarks is Lookout Mountain. From downtown Chattanooga, you can look up and see the point of Lookout Mountain, but Lookout Mountain is more than just the point itself. It stretches from Chattanooga through Georgia and Tennessee. I often wonder how many hours I’ve spent sitting on the bluff of the mountain staring at the beautiful skies and watching the valley below. If I totaled up those hours…how many days have I clocked taking in that view?
It never gets old.
Each season brings its own beauty. Each time of day. The beautiful colors of autumn, the crisp, clear winter skies, the fresh green growth of spring, and the summer’s afternoon thunderstorms rolling through. The morning time can bring a sea of fog that is reminiscent of days on the beach. And the sunsets, well, you can picture the scene.
With Chattanooga Vacation Rentals, you will find that five of our cabins sit right on the bluff of Lookout Mountain. They all feature decks where you can sit back and enjoy the view. All of these homes are on the west brow of the mountain and are within twenty miles of downtown Chattanooga.
Boulder Bungalow. Three bedrooms make this a perfect spot for six and pets are welcome so bring them along! The deck is set up for the chillin with shade trees and tables and chairs. Close to Chattanooga and Cloudland Canyon State Park.
Cloud Nine. Bring yourself and nine of your friends to enjoy the 180 degree view of Lookout Valley. The furry members of your family are welcome here too. Right down the street from Lookout Mountain Hang Gliding, so on soarable days, hang glider pilots will fly right by your deck.
Hunters’ Lodge. One of our log cabins on the mountain. Pick your rocking chair and relax. Pets are also welcome here at this three bedroom cabin.
Peach Bluff House. This place is just so cool. You will love it. This one is an older mountain home with so much charm, and you can take your choice of which deck you want to claim. Your furry friends will have to stay at home this time.
Stone Ledge. Perched on the edge of a rock bluff, hence the name. Excellent views from inside or out. While Stone Ledge is NOT pet friendly, it is an awesome choice for a girls getaway weekend.
